Shaun Derry: We're in this together

Shaun Derry believes the threat of a points deduction has united the Queens Park Rangers squad.

Their seven-point lead at the top of the Championship could be cut if the Football Association find the club guilty after charging them on seven counts over the signing of Alejandro Faurlin.

But Derry claims the controversy has strengthened the players' resolve.

The midfielder said: "Things like that create togetherness. We're obviously all aware of the situation but all we can do is influence what happens on the pitch. None of the players get involved in what's happening - we've got to continue trying to be a credit to the club."
