Steve Parish’s Palace caution

Steve Parish is delighted with how Crystal Palace are progressing but today warned supporters not to expect too much too soon.

Palace travel to Burnley tomorrow on a seven-match unbeaten run and are nine places higher in the Championship at 12th than at this point last season.

And while chairman Parish is delighted with the turnaround under manager Dougie Freedman, he urged caution. “We’re building something but these things take time,” he said. “We aren’t a Leicester or a West Ham and can’t go throwing money at it.”
