The Premier League may have twists and turns aplenty remaining in its final weeks but that hasn’t stopped clubs from planning their assaults on the summer transfer market.

For Tottenham it may be a case of holding on to what they have, with Mauricio Pochettino once more being linked with the Old Trafford dugout. Elsewhere their transfer target for the past year, Saido Berahino, has attracted further interest.

Stoke are reportedly set to offer £20million for the West Brom striker despite a season in which he has scored just three Premier League goals in 18 appearances.

Elsewhere Chelsea have been linked with another Serie A player as the arrival of Antonio Conte moves ever closer, with Stevan Jovetic on a shortlist that also includes Paul Pogba and Radja Nainggolan, according to La Repubblica.

Finally Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s likely departure from Paris St Germain is once more hitting the headlines. He may be an ideal upgrade for many a Premier League side but at wages rumoured to be £600,000 a week?
