Stoke v Tottenham team news: Michael Dawson returns

Tottenham captain Michael Dawson returned from a hamstring problem for their trip to the Britannia Stadium to face Stoke.

Dawson's inclusion was the only change from last weekend's victory over Fulham while full-back Marc Muniesa started for Stoke in place of Erik Pieters, who was forced off through illness at Cardiff last Saturday and only made the bench this time.

Charlie Adam, who has angered Tottenham with a series of heavy tackles against Spurs players, was named among the substitutes for the home side.
