Sunderland vs Chelsea team news: Willian and Cesc Fabregas start as Eden Hazard misses out

Antonio Conte has opted to start Willian in place of the injured Eden Hazard as Chelsea take on Sunderland at the Stadium of Light tonight.

Hazard picked up a minor injury during the Blues' weekend win over West Brom, and Brazilian Willian starts on the flank as Chelsea look to go six points clear of Arsenal at the top of the Premier League table.

Cesc Fabregas also replaces Nemanja Matic in midfield after coming off the bench to set up Diego Costa's winner against the Baggies.

Chelsea XI: Courtois; Azpilicueta, David Luiz, Cahill; Moses, Kante, Fabregas, Alonso; Willian, Diego Costa, Pedro.

Substitutes: Begovic, Ivanovic, Zouma, Chalobah, Matic, Loftus-Cheek, Batshuay
