Tottenham are now well on their way to returning to Premier League action after clubs voted unanimously to resume full-contact training earlier this week.

That came before Thursday's announcement that the action will return on June 17 with Manchester City vs Arsenal and Aston Villa vs Sheffield United.

Under the new guidelines, players are now able to train as a group and engage in tackling while keeping any unnecessary close contact to a minimum.

Harry Kane, Heung-min Son, Moussa Sissoko and Steven Bergwijn were among those involved after recovering from injuries in recent weeks.

Mourinho said: "In Harry's case, I think for about five months he hasn't played, but all of them are not injured anymore. They are training, and training is what it is at the moment, training has a lot of limitations."

They were all smiles at Hotspur Way as the players returned to something resembling normality for the first time since mid-March.

Spurs' first games back are scheduled to be home matches against Manchester United and West Ham, with the season resuming on June 17.
