Tottenham's Serge Aurier is facing a hefty club fine after breaching social-distancing guidelines for a third time.

Spurs have grown exasperated with the defender, who on Tuesday posted a picture to Instagram on him getting a haircut.

Aurier has already been pictured running alongside a friend and posted a video to Instagram of him training with team-mate Moussa Sissoko, promoting the pair to issue a joint apology.

A Spurs spokesperson said of his latest transgression: “We are investigating the circumstances and will deal with the incident appropriately."

Hairdressers are closed in the UK under government regulations but a defiant Aurier later posted updates on Instagram.

After writing “Bla-bla-bla” followed by snoozing emojis, he added: “My hairdresser is negative and me too so stop talking in a vacuum and put on masks and gloves when you come to take pictures at the training centre. It’s part of the rules too.”
