Tottenham vs Arsenal: Final Premier League north London derby at White Hart Lane scheduled for April

Tottenham’s final north London derby at White Hart Lane will be on the final weekend of April.

Spurs are set to move to Wembley temporarily at the end of next season whilst they undertake renovation of their current stadium, and will welcome Arsenal to the Lane on the weekend of April 29, subject to changes from broadcasters.

The other Premier League meeting between the two sides will be on November 5 at the Emirates.

Arsenal and Spurs met three times last season, the Gunners winning in the League Cup at White Hart Lane. Both Premier League matches were drawn, Harry Kane scoring in each.

On the closing day of last season a dramatic loss to Newcastle saw Spurs hand second place to Arsenal, Mauricio Pochettino’s side having collapsed under the pressure as they attempted to catch eventual champions Leicester.

Tottenham have not finished above Arsenal since the 1994/95 season, before Arsene Wenger took over at Highbury. Arsenal have twice won the title at White Hart Lane, in 1971 and 2004.
