Vincent Janssen will not be leaving Tottenham during the January transfer window, the striker's agent has confirmed.

The Netherlands international has scored just four goals since a £17 million move from AZ last summer, all of which have come from the penalty spot.

Janssen - who is on the bench for Spurs' clash with Sunderland this evening - last scored on Saturday as Tottenham narrowly triumphed over Wycombe Wanderers in the FA Cup, but was named on the bench as Heung-min Son started as the focal point of Mauricio Pochettino's attack.

Galatasaray were hoping to take advantage of Janssen's struggles with form by making a bid to take the striker on loan, with an option to buy, but Louis Laros has denied any move is in the offing.

"Absolutely not happening! Janssen is not joining Galatasaray, they may want him but he is not leaving," Laros told ESPN.

"Janssen will of course stay at Tottenham, he is not going anywhere."
