Gianfranco Zola insists there is more to come from his Watford side as they look to move into the automatic promotion places tonight.

Four wins in five games have lifted the Hornets up to fourth in the Championship and a win against Crystal Palace would see them move into second place.

But the Italian insists his side are yet to reach their best this season. He said: “The team have always progressed, always improved, which is what you look for, especially with a young team. Now I am looking forward to seeing more and more of this team — we haven’t seen everything.

“The players believe in what we are doing and they believe until the end. The results come and that’s the best satisfaction.

“We need to make sure all our focus is on the performance. That is what we can affect. That is what we’re good at. The result is going to be a consequence of that.”

Zola will give a fitness test to Nyron Nosworthy, who has been away on international duty.

Palace welcome back midfielder Kagisho Dikgacoi from the Africa Cup of Nations.
