Fraser inspires Chris

Memories of Angus Fraser's bowling during England's last tour of the West Indies inspired Chris Silverwood's efforts to peg back Trinidad and Tobago on the opening day of England A's Busta Cup match in Port of Spain.

The Yorkshire paceman, who was on that tour in 1997-98, picked up three wickets to help England A reduce Trinidad to 211 for six.

His 21 overs included 10 maidens and throughout he was recalling how Fraser had earned his wickets.

"I watched Fraser here on that tour and he kept bowling just back of a length which is how he got a shed full of wick-ets," said Silverwood.

"That was at the fore-front of my mind when I came on this tour. I knew I just had to stick to line and length."
