Grix inspires Giants triumph

Full-back Scott Grix weighed in with two tries and five goals as Huddersfield got back to winning ways with a 46-26 victory over Hull KR.

The Giants had lost their last two Engage Super League matches but recovered from going behind early on to ease to victory at the Galpharm Stadium.

Scott Taylor put Rovers in front with a fifth-minute try converted by Michael Dobson, but Leroy Cudjoe levelled with a converted try in the 16th minute when he outjumped Hull KR's Peter Fox to reach a Luke Robinson high kick. David Faiumu put Huddersfield in front in the 19th minute with a converted score only for Josh Hodgson to level four minutes later after Clint Newton's breakaway.

Clint Greenshields and Greg Mounis scored two tries each as Catalan Dragons strolled to a 48-22 win over Harlequins.

The home side also touched down through Jason Baitieri, Jean-Philippe Baile, Michael Simon and Damien Blanch and Remy Marginet kicked eight goals.

Oliver Wilkes, Chad Randall, Karl Pryce and Tony Clubb touched down for Harlequins, with Rob Purdham kicking two goals and Chris Melling one.
