Hendrie's plea to Taylor

Aston Villa midfielder Lee Hendrie has urged manager Graham Taylor to give him a chance after the departures of Paul Merson and George Boateng.

Taylor is also watching Ipswich's Matt Holland but Hendrie said: 'Hopefully with Paul and George leaving it will open the door. I'm not going to let myself be pushed out any further. I want to be involved every week.'
