Ipswich priority is promotion

Ipswich coach Bryan Hamilton admitted today it was "terrific news" that the club had won a UEFA Cup place but insisted the priority for next season was promotion back to the Premiership.

Despite being relegated, Ipswich were one of two names drawn out of a hat containing teams from the 17 national associations ranked highest in UEFA's Fair Play League.

Hamilton added: "The fans deserve it."
