Jackie Stewart's new Max Mosley attack

13 April 2012

Sir Jackie Stewart has renewed his call for Max Mosley to quit as boss of the FIA despite winning his privacy fight with the News of the World.

Mosley was awarded £60,000 compensation in the High Court yesterday over the paper's reports of an orgy he was involved in with five prostitutes.

In June the 68-year-old won a vote among FIA members to remain as their boss.

But three-time Formula One champion Stewart said said: "If Max were president of the Olympic movement, he would have been told to go. I don't see how he can justify staying on. The vote of confidence was not a large majority, and there were a number of people who did not vote."
