Kevin hits target

Martin Allen today paid tribute to Kevin O'Connor for scoring the 25-yard volley that sealed Saturday's 1-0 win over Wrexham.

"It's not through luck that he scored that goal," said Allen. "At 9.45am Kevin joins the shooting session, which is outside of the normal training hours. He has not missed one session.

"He also does extra speed and fitness work. It's about his hard work and dedication. It didn't really come off for us [on Saturday] apart from one isolated moment of magic which was an incredible piece of skill."
