Landreau may miss Scotland clash

13 April 2012

Stade Francais hooker Fabrice Landreau could miss France's opening Six Nations championship clash with Scotland on Sunday because of a sore back.

Landreau was replaced after just 30 minutes of Stade Francais' 36-19 beating of compatriots Pau in a European Cup quarter-final on Saturday.

"There are seven days to go before the match against the Scots", Landreau said. "My back is really sore and I can't play rugby at the moment. But I'll go to Clairefontaine (training camp) anyway."

"On Wednesday I'll know if I can play or not. I don't want to take any risks. If I'm not ready to go I'll pull out", he said.

Landreau could be replaced by former captain Raphael Ibanez.
