Leicester clear Wells for England A job

Leicester have agreed to allow John Wells to coach England A, but warned they are considering banning players from taking part in England international events.

They have to release players under the current agreement, but say they will review support for the Sevens World Series and Under-21 and Under-19 competitions which fall outside the agreement.

It all comes down to the continuing row over promotion-relegation and the monies owed to the clubs by the Rugby Football Union.
