Millar in need of better luck

13 April 2012

Scotland's David Millar was praying for a change of luck today after dropping to 186th and last place in the Tour de France at the end of the third stage near Liege.

Millar, who wore the yellow jersey last year after winning the prologue time trial, has already suffered a burst tyre and a knee injury this week.

But Millar said: "I'm still hoping to win a stage this year."

Australian Stuart O'Grady now wears the leader's yellow jersey.

Defending champion Lance Armstrong has moved back into the top 10, only 21 seconds behind O'Grady.
