The return of bear-baiting to Bermondsey would probably attract a bigger crowd than Millwall at the moment. Brighton's band of merry men should bring a fair-sized following but Norman Cook (Fat Boy Slim) will not be among them, despite buying an 11 per cent share in the club during the week. The former Housemartin is recording his fourth album and has decided to give the delights of The Den a miss. I wonder why?
