Reds are on fire - Neville

12 April 2012

Gary Neville feels Manchester United could not be in better shape heading into a momentous week after Sir Alex Ferguson's side maintained a three-point lead at the top of the Premiership with a 2-1 win at Sheffield United.

On the back of seven successive league victories, United now take on Celtic in a Champions League group clash at Parkhead on Tuesday looking for the win to clinch their place in the knockout phase. Then next Sunday they face Chelsea in a mouthwatering encounter at Old Trafford, and while the result will not settle the title race, the victors will feel confident about lifting the trophy.

"You have to win at every ground. We can't afford to be dropping points because we need to go into Chelsea next week feeling good about ourselves," United skipper Neville told MUTV.

"It doesn't get any better than this in terms of football (playing Celtic and Chelsea). We couldn't be going into them in better form or feeling."
