Roy Hodgson not tempted by summer sales

Impressive season: Roy Hodgson has guided his side into the top-half of the Premier League

Roy Hodgson says he will not be tempted to sign a clutch of players in the summer - even if Fulham do qualify for the Europa League.

The Fulham manager has guided his side into the top-half of the Premier League and admits he is looking to bolster his squad.

However, he says he will work within the club's budget and does not want to assemble a huge squad.

He said: "We'll be restricted in the number of players we can bring in by the budget we're given and the amount of money we have to spend, but numbers per se don't guarantee you anything anyway.

"We're not the sort of club that could ever have a rotation policy in the same way as the top four teams."
