Saracens need boost

Saracens are desperate for a morale-boosting win at struggling Newcastle tonight.

Having lost 20-15 to Northampton last weekend the club then learned that centre Kevin Sorrell will be out until October after having knee surgery.

Director of rugby Eddie Jones, who is being replaced by Brendan Venter at the end of the season, said: "This is a very important game. Newcastle will be on a high after their win against Bristol last week. We were disappointed with our result against Northampton especially as we didn't make the most of our opportunities. That is something we need to improve on."
