Webb Simpson spoke of his admiration for Luke Donald before they teed off today in their battle to win the PGA Tour money list.

Simpson heads the world No1 by £229,000 going into the deciding event of the season in the United States, the Disney Classic in Florida, where they have been paired together.

England's Donald, who leads Europe's Race to Dubai, must finish in the top two to overhaul the American.

Simpson said: "To have the success he's had - winning on both Tours, topping the money lists for most of the year - is incredible, especially since he has a family. He's done an incredible job of balancing it all."
