United home is where the heart is for Tevez

13 April 2012

Carlos Tevez has said that he feels more at home now in the Premier League than he does in the colours of Argentina.

The Manchester United striker failed to score in the World Cup win over Bolivia two weeks ago and was shown an early red card in the next match against Colombia, which Argentina went on to lose.

Now Tevez is worried his lack of goals for his country could threaten his place, unlike at Old Trafford.

'I'm finding it easier to play for United than I am for the national side,' he said. 'There seems to be more space to exploit.

'lf you're the No 9 you have to score goals. I haven't scored one in my last four for Argentina. In England it's the opposite. I'm scoring goals even though I'm not always in the No 9 position.'
