United match comes too soon for injured six

Fulham's treatment room is gradually clearing, though not in time for the visit of Manchester United tonight.

Collins John returns to the squad, but the match has come too soon for Luis Boa Morte, Jerome Bonnissel, Claus Jensen, Mark Crossley, Lee Clark and Alain Goma, who all remain sidelined through injury.

However, manager Chris Coleman remains hopeful. "The guys who have been out a little while are very close now, so we are beginning to see a little bit of light at the end of the tunnel," he said. "Clarky's pushing on and looking good, he's training with the reserves and will need four or five reserve team games before he gets that match tempo back."

Moritz Volz also misses out tonight through suspension after picking up his fifth yellow card of the season.
