Warnock's future unclear

12 April 2012

Neil Warnock's future as Sheffield United manager is shrouded in confusion after Blades plc chairman Kevin McCabe called a press conference for 11am on Wednesday.

Warnock has been mulling over his future at Bramall Lane since the club's relegation to the Championship on Sunday, with Blades officials apparently willing to give him time to make a decision.

However, the smart money is on Warnock calling time on his Blades tenure having expressed his unhappiness with the club's latest new contract offer prior to Sunday's defeat to Wigan.
