Woodgate targeting a top-four slot

Ramos: will look to strengthen squad

Jonathan Woodgate today challenged Tottenham to secure a Champions League spot next season, but admits they are "far off" achieving the required top four finish. Spurs finished 11th after a 2-0 home defeat by Liverpool with boss Juande Ramos now set to overhaul the squad. England defender Woodgate said: "We are trying to get into the Champions League. That's the benchmark. At the moment we are far [off that]. It's going to be tough to break into the top four."
